Our public organization is a strong all-Ukrainian community of educators who share democratic values and are ready to develop civic education in Ukraine

ABOUT THE CIVIC EDUCATORS' ASSOCIATION (CEA)

Our NGO brings together people who share common values, as all of our members have experience in teaching the Democracy: From Theory to Practice course. Civic education has united us, and we want to promote it more throughout Ukraine and share interactive teaching methods among Ukrainian teachers.

OUR COMMUNITY

Our community is unique in that it brings together key civic education teachers in Ukraine: we have representatives from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Odesa, Poltava, Dnipro, Ostroh, and Vinnytsia. In addition, our members specialize in law, political science, social sciences, economics, history, etc. This means that our employees have the necessary knowledge to conduct research on civic education through the lens of their specialty.

OUR TEAM

The team began to form in 2018 during one of the first IFES trainings for university professors. After several years of cooperation, the team was institutionalized into a non-governmental organization.
